Hi,

This is Abhijit, Google launched a refresh to the google nexus 7 but only in the united states. Can someone please get me this new google nexus 7. I have a paypal account and I need this tab really badly.

    I would normally delete this kind of post, but it could serve as a useful warning.

    First, I don't know that what I'm about to say applies to this poster. He might be 100% legit. If so, what I'm about to suggest might help him get what he wants, so no harm there.

    That said, be very careful about requests like this!

    It is common for these sorts of requests to involve a simple con. In those instances, the person making the request will pay via a stolen credit card, and you'll end up with a chargeback after you've sent the product. Or they'll claim the product was never received, broken upon delivery, or some other basis for disputing the charge with Paypal or the credit card they used to purchase.

    If the person making the request is legit, there are other ways to pay that don't involve the same risk to the person helping them out. Western Union is the most obvious. And yes, that does place some risk on the buyer.

    I would be surprised if there weren't simpler ways for a person to have a product like this shipped to India than to post a request to strangers in a discussion forum.

      This and the fact that he last posted in 2011. Strange to come back and immediately make this request.

      I'm sure it's nice and legit though. I'm just not prepared to do it.

      Besides, I'm not in the US anyway.
