I am trying to learn how to create. Squeeze page. Please, can you tell me how to upload my pdf to my server to create a link that would be downloadable to my subscribers. I use filezilla.

Lastly, I would like you to also show me where to place my "thank you page.html" on my aweber account, so the pdf link can be downloaded from that page?

I would appreciate a step by step explanation.

Thank you

Just upload the pdf file to your hosting. If for example you put it in the same place as your index file you would get a prompt to download it at www.yourdomain.com/pdfname.pdf

If you then make a link to that location, you can give that to others to download with.

Simply go to your domain in your ftp and upload your pdf. So if your domain was www.yoursite.com and the name of your pdf was "my-ebook" Your link would be something like www.yoursite.com/my-ebook.pdf

As far as having your pdf indexed you can add a "no-follow" into the code and that way your pdf won't give indexed

Finaly for a thank you page Id personally go to kompozer and create my own Thank-You page. Then you can have the url to your pdf on that page as well plus you can then market other related product and give more choice among your viewers. Just one or two. Don't over due it. And remember, these are people you are giving a first impression too so the key here is to really over deliver plus ONLY recamend good quality products that only you feel are good.

You should create your own thank you page, then put your downloadable pdf link in that page. Just create a thank you page by publishing a post in your Wordpress blog is okay. You can make the slug to be /thank-you.

About making the downloadable pdf link, you can watch it step-by-step how I demonstrate it here: How to Create Download Link & A Custom Thank You Page - YouTube
That includes creating a thank you page.

You can set your thank you page in Aweber when you create the opt-in box. Choose Custom URL, then insert the URL of your thank you page. Hope it helps.

If you can work with Wordpress then making a squeeze page is so easy. Wordpress has great paid and free addons (called Plugins) for making great looking Squeeze pages that convert really well.

You can upload your Pdf with Wordpress built in media manager. After upload it'll show the link to your Pdf. That link can be placed on websites or given to people who want to download your PDf.

    1. Build your page. Get hosting that includes Wordpress blogs and install Wordpress.
2.Get a good marketing theme. I use & recommend Optimize Press.
Squeeze template 10 (I think it is) makes a darn good squeeze page, complete with a PDF download image where you can have your pdf cover and opt-in to get the product. You can create the ebook cover -- see this thread -- and save to your hard drive, then upload it where and how Optimize Press tells you to.
    3. Aweber: Create your list, and in Aweber, there's an option to send people to a particular page after they subscribe. You can send them there for the download, or include it in the thank you message (or follow up message) after someone subscribes.

You might want to get a course with a good mentor who can show you step by step. I always recommend Marketing with Alex.
