Not there's really anything wrong with that but wouldnt you have better luck building a list of people who are highly interested in the "product" you're offering? For instance, say you have two different squeeze pages, and the product you're offering is a video course on traffic. Now lets say that squeeze page A offers a lead magnet of offering a free ebook on copywriting and squeeze page B offers 3/4 of the video course for free while still being completely upfront on the squeeze page that the product is $97. Although your optin rate would be lower on squeeze page B, wouldnt you think that you'll have more buyers and a more responsive and qaulified list of leads that went through squeeze page B compared to A?
