Well, heres how it goes, im about to launch my first product...its an ebook...in the im niche...and the "problem" is that its the only one of its kind out there (in that sub-niche), i mean seriously, the only one. it has a medium market to witch i can sell it too, now how do you think i should approach it? higher price since its unique? low price? im having some trouble deciding. or other suggestions?

What's your USP? How are you marketing the book itself? Is your sales page
done? What are the benefits? Can you convey them to your target market?

If there are no books out there like it, do you know for certain that there
is a demand for it, either through doing keyword research or going to forums
and asking people flat out if they'd be interested in a book like this?

If you did, why not just also ask them what they'd pay for such a book?

It's absolutely impossible to answer your question with so many unknowns.

Trying to sell something that nobody else is selling is risky unless you're
really certain about your research, and part of that research, if you did it,
should have included getting price ideas from your target market by telling
them what it is you're selling.

    Make sense?

Hi, I am just wondering what do you mean by "one of a kind"? based on what ground?
And if it is a sub-niche, what about the demand? what about their buying pattern? do they go for ebook products? if yes, what price point are they comfortable at? who have they bought from before? (and you can model these sellers or marketers)

In my opinion, if you have a medium which you can use, shouldn't the medium be the way you market your book. Check out how your targeted customers buy in this medium.

Assuming they do really buy ebooks, you may want to draw them into your product funnel with a freebie, capture their emails and promote an OTO for them as your backend. This OTO can be your ebook.

    My 2 cents,
    John
