Do such places exist?

Are there are any websites where people who have legitimate email lists sell advertising to their newsletters?

I am looking for NON-IM niche. My niches are relationships, psychic, Astrology and self-improvement.

I know that ezines exist however, I am not too confident to advertise to 100,000 for $25 or so, looks like spam to me or something.

I remember about couple of months ago I came across a website where list owners advertised to email to their lists and you would pay only for clicks.

Has anyone tried such system and did it work? Also any website you can recommend that has these list owners?

Thanks!!!!

You have to track you links with something like quality click control, ad trackz gold, or a free click tracker is clickmeter.com.
You'll run into problem like that no matter where you go it's part of testing the waters and you develop a list of reputable vendors.
$25 for 100,000 clicks sound like you get bulk traffic from hit exchanges, pop ups, pop unders, and junk that wont help you at all, they probably wont even deliver the full 100,000.
You may be able to search solo vendors in that niche here in WF, you can check the solo ad directory but I'm pretty sure they're all IM related.
I don't know about that niche but I would suggest banner ads, FB ads, and starting a blog to build your presence.

subscribe to real high quality ones in your niche or even a vertical of it. I subscribe to ones in real estate, tax, investments, banking, etc...and they are high quality. Ads cost in excess of $1,500+ but it's worth it.

Don't bother with your typical I.M. 6 lines of spam.

Steve Aitchison is a personal development author/blogger, and he allows people to advertise on his newsletter. Not sure what his numbers are, but he is the biggest in the UK the last time I checked.

Hey Mpluto, it's a tricky one for sure. I would suggest finding the top 20 - 30 sites in your niche and trying to negotiate a solo ad with them directly.

I wouldn't go through Google either to try and find the top sites, but instead use some of the popular social bookmarking sites to find high traffic and active site.

It may require a little work, but you should be able to find willing partners that don't charge the earth...
