Does my site take long to load?

Hey everybody I just have a quick question I'm working on setting up a site and I don't know if my Internet connection is bad or if my site is just taking a long time to load...

So if you could check it out and let me know that would be awesome the domain is

      I did it over at : Website speed test

      I've tested dozens of website speed test tools on the market, and this one (that's free) is by far the best.

      What I like best about it, is that it shows you the breakdown of EVERY element on your site, and which ones take the longest to load... so you can use that data and fine tune (everything) to get an insane load speed.

    What's the point of this site? You can't contact anyone with the contact page, you can't buy anything? There are no ads or ways to make money, and there's no content explaining anything. And yes it does take a while to load. Might help to optimize the pictures for the web.

      The site was just launched yesterday that's why not all the pages have content...

      And the point of the site is just to look at pretty girls smoking weed... because it's awesome.

    Very slow for me... Once it loads up its fine, but takes a good 5 seconds to load. Way too much.

    Its probably not coded very well.

    Ok. That (could) be why it's taking a while to load. Especially if the server specs are very low end.

    I've used a few dozen different hosting companies over the years with running Wordpress and the one that's my favorite (and the fastest / optimized for wordpress) is:

    WordPress Hosting & Managed WordPress Hosting | WP Engine

    They start at $29/month which is more than your GoDaddy shared... but it's going to be a much faster, stable and fully managed platform.

    Maybe don't upgrade to it right now... but once you implement a way to make money from your site, I would consider it.

    You'll be glad you did.

      It's taking forever to load for me. I took a look at the source file and it doesn't appear as though the theme was intended to be used for graphics heavy content. Although I can't be certain what the original intent was. Additionally, your pictures are not probably optimized. GoDaddy does not have a good rep for fast loading, graphics heavy sites.
