Delete a thread or two

To this day I get emails and PMs from people wanting to "still get access" to reports that are over a year old!

Disabling the buy button/giveaway link only prompts people to send emails and PMs.

Let's keep this Forum clean and RELEVANT -- how do I delete some of these threads that people unfortunately still think they can benefit from??

    I've reported my own thread and requested deletion. When I've had a lot, I've listed them and sent them to the Help Desk and asked for them to be deleted when there was time. You can also delete the content of a thread, which can provide readers a clue.

      You'd think it WOULD provide readers a clue.

      Occasionally, after all the (ir)relevent links and buttons are down, I still get a newbie or 2 asking if he can still get a copy "of what was deleted".

      Have they ever Successfully deleted your threads Tina?

        Yes. Every time I've asked, it's been done within a couple days. This only works for ads, I believe. Otherwise, all the idiots that wake up to the fact they look stupid in a post would be bugging the mods for them to clean up their messes.

    Sounds like a nightmare... right?

    Obviously if you have people wanting your product why not set up a sight where they can keep buying it? like clickbank?

    Why not take advantage of their interest?

    Either you can do what wrcato2 suggested or you can change the links and instead have them go to a page that says something like

    Sorry but this product is no longer available, but here are my other products

    or

    Sorry but this product is no longer available, here is an updated version that works even better
