INTERNET MARKETING

Hi guys, wondering which software cuts it for picture in picture recording?

For recording both webcam and desktop at the same time. I have camtasia which is ok.. is there anything better on the market?

I have always used Camtasia and it works fine for me.

Camstudio can also do a good job. CamStudio is a freeware screen recording program which records all the screen and the audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files. It is an open source software.

  Well, perhaps Camtasia is the best one, but not cheapest one , depends what are your needs, I do use one for 12$ per year and it's more than enough for me and it's much more easy to use. "V"

If you're using a Mac, it comes with some pretty good screen recording software. Do a quick Google search, as I can't remember the name. But I used it and it's great. Might as well save some money.

  I think the new Macs come with Keynote - but it doesn't seem available for Leopard and Snow Leopard, which many of us still use.

If you're on a Mac Screenflow is a great option.

I've used the free version of Screencast-o-Matic and loved it but didn't realize you could do picture in picture with it. Learn something everyday

  I use Camtasia also, but you could also use the free program Jing, or Screencast for the simple stuff. It's just that Camtasia is just sooo nice and extremely powerful.
  
  PS, there is always Adobe Premier if you want to go big. I have the full adobe suite and have used Premier, and it can do amazing things, but I find the learning curve huge.

  I use Screencastomatic - Inexpensive (think there's a free version, but the paid is WELL worth it), very easy to use. Have used camtasia, jing, screenr, and others, but for me screencastomatic won out.

Camstudio is very good if you are looking for a free option. Combine it with windows move maker which is free with windows and you have something that would suit most novice needs.

Camtasia is much better and will save you a lot of time if you are making recordings day in and day out.

I always use screen castomatic and have had a great experience with it, but not sure if it does exactly what you need but it does a great job a screen recording.
