Viral marketing, rewards and kickstarter
Hey all, I'm totally new when it comes to online marketing and I'm in the process of building a Kickstarter project for my next game.
I want to spead the word about the kickstarter, and I got the possibility of giving "keys" that will unlock extra content in my next game. I would like to track people who share a link or refer people to a certain page, and send them a reward.
All I need is to be able to send an email to people who referred others, and if possible send different messages depending on the number of referrals.
Referral programs I know of require the users to create an account, and extra steps will only slow down the whole process. Would there be a way to track referrals from facebook for example and send user a message from there, removing the need to register?
How would you guys approach this?
