Hey warriors. I'm looking for a solid list building and email marketing course. I've recently started building my list but am looking for some good, relevant information to help me out. I'm very motivated and just don't want to channel my energy in the wrong areas..thanks in advance.

  • Paul Nichols has some good ones. I have one opening in a month but that won;t help you now. We have some good solid players here just search the wsos for them and read the review's.

    • Thanks for the info. I've been looking around the WSO section, but I'm always scared of phoney reviews etc. Let me know when that spot opens up in a month or so. I may still be interested.
  • Definitely check out the WSO section as those are usually up-to date... and just one note on "up to date", when it comes to email marketing and list building, there's only a few things that may change... I've been doing list building and email marketing since 2005 and really, I could probably count the things that have changed on one hand.

Proven principles will work well in list building and email marketing for years to come... but of course there are things that come up where you need to zig, and zag.

aside from courses from wso, any other tips for someone whos starting out list building?
  • This is the one that I learned from, it has lots of positive reviews from well known Warriors...

  • If they have two pages or three pages of replies I can guarantee you all are not phoney reviews,.
  • I like Lee Murray's stuff - 21 and done is a good solid course in the WSO section
  • If you want to build a solid list that has high open and click rates, develop a relationship & trust with your audience, and that takes action then build your list around a blog, content funnel or solid product.

Don't go down this squeeze page / freebie / solo ad option. You'll be disappointed when you can't even reach 10% open rates and everyone unsubscribes or marks as spam.

    • Great advice! Exactly what I was looking for. Starting out is tough, you're pulled left right left with all kinds of info. One person says one way is the best and another gives you other advice. I think I need to just sit down and start a blog and work at it. I'm not afraid of hard work, just need to get going and stop reading maybe.

Thanks for all the replies people. Keep them coming if you have any other insights.

    • I think that's good advice.

  • There are some good lessons but the best lesson out there is to run tests yourself and see what works best for you. While some techniques work really well for one person, it may not work for the other.
  • Lee Murray's products are my favorite. 21-and-done is the best list building guide I have ever read. (It's not just a great step-by-step method, but it's frickin' funny, too )
