10% Commissions vs 50%+
Now, although these rates are "lower" than what many vendors offer, the actual payouts are typically much higher than what many affiliates would see for promoting eBooks and such since I charge a "premium" for my services. Despite many, many visits to my "Affiliates" page, I've had very few affiliate requests.
The question: Do most affiliates even look at the actual payouts or are they looking only at the commission rate itself?
Based on what I'm seeing, I am beginning to think most only look at the rate without regard to the actual payout amount.
Thoughts?
