I have two aged domains.

I would like to get your help which one is better for web development company's website covering offshore web development , web design and redesign, seo internet marketing

Domain 1- Wgohosting.com 10 years old domain, with some backlinks

Domain 2- Clientpanels.com 5 years old domain

What would you say about them.

Well I don't think either one is geared towards web development but the older domain with backlinks would probably be easier to get ranked.

Is either domain name representative of the services you provide? Just from what you've said, my guess would be no.

I think you're placing too much emphasis on the "aged" part of the domains. Once your site is placed on the domain and up and running, the search engines will know that it's a new business, different from the one that was on the domain previously.

And what do you know about the links that are out there for the aged domains? They could be damaging to your site or your reputation. There's a very good chance they will disappear from any interior pages if that is what was linked to.

I would suggest you not worry about "aged" and go find a great short brandable dot com that you can start with from scratch.

As said above these domains don't really explain what your actual business is about.

So i would suggest to get another domain for your business. Perhaps you can check expireddomains.net. I used that site mainly to get ideas for domain names and grab the occasional valuable domain name myself

This is off topic but i once found a dropped domain for $10 and was able to sell it 3 days later for $250. This is just to give you an idea that there are domains you can find there which have intrinsic value to start a business with.

10 years domain is best for you because Google value old websites

Google doesn't value aged domains, rather they value aged links pointing to the domains. The benefits of having 10 year old site with no links is negligible compared to a new domain.

To the OP, the links to the domains should be checked, if they're rubbish links, or easy to get links then I would actually suggest getting a new domain thats easily brandable and one that you like.

Brand Yourself. Even an aged domain is going to be difficult to rank in the Niche.

Your site could be bwhadamassociates.com and depending on who you market to, they are going to visit your site. In fact, I would think that if you uniquely brand yourself, you are more likely to get people to visit your site than if you had some generic domain.

Age is the least thing I would consider if I were you in your shoes.

Think about what comes to the mind when people first visit your site. The domain name is the first thing they look.

You would want something that translate what your overall service is all about.

Branding is also very vital in this case.

Even with an aged domain, if you lack IM wit you are still not going anywhere.
