Hi. I've read a bunch of WarriorForum posts, watched a bunch of youtube videos, done what I can to educate myself. But I a total newbie at creating Facebook ads. I'm about to create my first FB ad ever. Also, I just created my personal FB page and have never been active on FB at all, so I don't know it. I just got 2 t shirt designs made by a guy on oDesk, and I saved my campaigns on Teespring.com, waiting until I figure out how to create a good fb ad.

The posts say do something called a "Post Engagement" ad. I don't know what that is. So I go to the Ad Manager and click on that, and it says to choose a Post. What post do I choose? I don't have a page with anything on it. Am I supposed to create one? How?

Thanks for helping a newbie.

    Hey

To start, since you begin, Id use "website conversion" not post engagement. Its a lot easier to manage and you can track more easily which ads is converting.

So select that option at the start.

Then you need to create a page for the niche of you shirt. You just need a picture and a title for your page. you can fill in all the rest later.

Then choose your audience, place your bid and remember to put a daily limit not too high to start with. You can always increase it later if you need to.

There's a link to a good tutorial here How to create a Teespring Campaign Step by Step - Teespring Expert - Teespring Expert

You don't need to use a scrapper so just skip this part. but follow everything else.

    I hope that help!

Wouldn't the scrapper keep the cost of the FB ad low as it is specific?

Don't forget to create a conversion pixel in Facebook and set the conversion pixel in both Facebook and in the options on Teespring. That way you can track which ads are converting best and which ones need to be eliminated.

Go to you Tube and search Facebook advertising tutorial.

There are several good ones that will walk you through the
process all the way from creating the page and post to selecting
    demographics for your target audience.

The subject is really a little too complicated for anyone to be able to
teach you the ins and outs effectively in a forum post.

Scrapers are a big no no and can't be used anymore.

You can still be ultra specific using just general interests, you just have to be clever about it.

I agree. There are a lot of things you need to get right to have an effective campaign. Even the guys making a load of money with TS at the moment have more losing campaigns than winners. There's a lot more to it than just get some designs and fire up some ads.
