Graphic Packs, What Do you Use?

So with all the graphic packs I have seen is there a preferred one to use? I know there are a whole lot of free images out there but a nice package put together interests me more due to time constraints and I have no problem paying for a quality set.

I wish I had a full graphic pack to sell you...lol. If you can't find anything here on the forum check out graphicriver.net, they have some amazing graphics over there.

Check the WSO's section - essentially you'll be looking for a modern styling one, not something really old - I saw a nice pack recently with wood effect platforms in the pack which looks good.

Ofcourse being a designer myself I rarely use packs (but still do sometimes): in fact I'll be launching my own packs soon - but that's a few months away - so, for now I can only recommend helping Warrior's by getting your packs from the WSO board.

    Peace,

Yes I did see a few scattered here and there, the Mystic packs look good. Was just hoping to hear from some Warriors on a pack that has worked out well for them. I do already have a few assorted freebie packs I have collected over the past year.

I've got the Mystic pack myself - it's OK but not the best - Edit: haven't got time to go through this right now, but the "secret bonus" is a JV launch site template - you also get: Minisite templates (plain), Arrows, Logo's, eCovers, Headers, Video backgrounds...

I just went through all my packs (I have quite a few, if I screenshotted the files and folders you'd be amazed...)

I must say: NINJA GRAPHICS PACK is the best one I have - it has 60 modules including designs specific to WSO launchs...

Hope that helps... "Premium Graphics Megapack WSO" is also really good, with a tonne of high quality graphics organized into neat folders....

NOTE: Yes - I did design my wallpaper (not the font though) and Yes, I do keep my machine very clean, neat and tidy Best way IMO

        Peace,

Awesome thanks for the recommendations Ghozt and don't worry you should see my desktop at work. I'm a network engineer and have to deal with so many pdf's, visio diagrams, spreadsheets and powerpoint files that I too have no choice but to be neat and tidy.

A very good questions without a solid answer. I guess the typical salespage/squeezepage graphics. Clean high res attention getting graphics such as headers, buttons, arrows, section backgrounds, product feature boxes, add to cart. I am more interested in squeeze page graphics at the moment as opposed to sales page stuff because I don't really have a real product to sell yet but I am sure the packs are all mostly one and the same.

Shutterstock is amazing but too costly for the small amount I require.

Kind of off topic but how is all the fancy text in the boxes on a typical product salespage inserted? Do you have to just open the background in photoshop, add the font I want then add effects to the font? I have read that actions are the best way to do this and found some here - 20 Free Photoshop Styles to Create Stunning Text Effects

It depends to be honest - you can use photoshop like in the link, which is really good for advanced styles and fonts - within photoshop it is a 2 click process (write your text, click styles, load your styles, click to apply it) - best to either make the background colour the same as the page you will be posting on, or use transparent background to the image.

But now with the lastest advances in HTML5 and CSS3 you can do some really cool things with fonts and effects all in your browser, with code/scripting - just Google it and you'll see what I mean.

I typically go with PSD graphic packs. I don't make my graphics glamorous... just enough to incite excitement - typically on my download page. For other things though, i hire a freelancer. I don't know how to do everything on the computer lol. Maybe i should have taken up graphics design and computer science in college lol.

You have to pick one that suits your needs. Lots of graphics packs being launched all the time but some specialize in whiteboard animation, stock photos, templates etc.

I tend to buy the stuff I think I have a use for now.

Agreed, yes I just bookmark products or WSO's I might use in the future and sort them to make them easy to find later.

For graphics pack, I do have a a couple of marketing packs but in my opinion they are so old and the same packs have been slightly modified and redistributed. The sad truth is that the "markety" and "salesy" graphics don't quite work like they did in the past since users are now beginning to identify them as marketing graphics.

I strayed a bit there but I don't use graphics packs that much since I tend to either do my graphics from scratch or get high quality stuff from Shutterstock.

May I ask what are some stuff you would want in a solid graphics pack and how much you would be looking to pay for it?

Ninja Edit: Also how would you prefer to edit your graphics? Would Photoshop be a little too much to work with?

    Hey bud,

I've shared a little gift to the War Room: a 3 modules package of modern, flat-styled buttons.

I'm just sending you a PM with the link to it for you to check it out. You might find it useful.

    - Juan.

The truth is, whatever graphics pack you buy it will never be complete.

You might have bought a pack because it could help you create a video about "pest control", but later when you need an image for a "weight loss" article, you might not be able to find any that could b used.

Especially true for whiteboard graphics packs.

There are two kinds of graphic: the first one is used for web design (often called web elements graphic, they have banner, layer third, cover,..) , If you need this, there are lot of wso graphic sales pack available and the second is custom graphic design, with this kind, you need photoshop, AI skills to edit.
