Deconditioning "Get Rich Quick" Thinking

I've been trying out internet marketing for a year now and spent thousands of dollars trying to learn it.

When I graduated a couple months ago, I was a little bummed that I had to start applying for jobs. So I stopped thinking about internet marketing for a solid two months. Concentrated on the job hunt.

But something must have happened in those two months. The air seemed to clear, and while waiting for job responses, I decided to continue pursuing internet marketing.

I came across a mentor/program that worked with my style and, thankfully, gave me realistic broad pictured expectations as well as solid method.

Despite all the scams I've fallen for, I no longer feel the need to seek get-rich quick schemes. I'm perfectly content to take my time now.

When people used to say they made $1500 a month from adsense earnings, I thought, "$1500? That's all. Should be making at least $20,000." As if I knew.

Now, I think, "$1500? Wow. That's pretty doable. Aim for $20/mon. Then work on it, and should see $1500 in a few months."

I've deconditioned the get-rich-quick mindset, and I'm much happier for it. Less anxious. More patient.

I still love coming into forums and melding with great successful minds. Good advice is never a waste.
