Besides Grant Cardone, are there any other really good paid courses on how to market and sell?

Yes, paid ones. I don't mind saving up and just paying for something if the value is there. I'm pretty good at fulfillment of my service but when it comes to filling my pipeline, that's where I'm struggling with in my consulting business.

I realize Grant Cardone is uber successful, but his style just doesn't match my personality.

  • Grant Cardone is pretty intense, maybe 10x as intense as most of us. So, if his out there, in your face type of business doesn't suit you, what would be your ideal?

You offer a service, right? Being a "pipeline", means it involves a period of TIME. You want more people coming into your pipeline? Is all this accurate?

What sort of consulting do you do? (Oh please, say it isn't marketing)...who are the most likely buyers of your services? Where do they hang out, what do they want and what is your current message to them?

You, apparently, want a little bit more of a low key operation, which one assumes is why you wouldn't follow Grant Cardone's successful 'plan'.

Can you define your goals just a little bit more for us, and maybe we can offer up some alternatives, OK?

  • Just do a search on Youtube for sales training. After you flip through a dozen videos...you'll find someone you like and can identify with.

If you want an industry specific sales trainer, just add what you sell to the search.

  • I understand what you say about Grant Carbone I guess he dosen't sit with everybody. I personally have got some great value from Russell Brunson's stuff....Handles every part of your marketing journey
  • Personally the closest person I identify with is actually Jordan Belfort's straight line system. It's nothing revolutionary but takes a needs based, pain based approach.

If your prospect has a pain, you need to identify it, present your solution and get them to trust you, trust your company and trust that your product/service will solve their pain/need.

Sales is that simple in my opinion.
  • Few good books that helped me.

    1. Go for No!
    2. How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling
    3. The Psychology of Selling

I'm a big fan of Brian Tracy myself. He has tons of free YouTube videos that can teach you about selling. Just my two cents.
