A man that is too prideful to learn from a more successful man... will never be in that man's shoes.

Hey warriors. This is just a little quote I made up but something I like to remind myself every day.

Never let yourself becoming to prideful to admit to learning from somebody who is doing better. Sometimes, I will find myself saying "I don't need to do what he does... or I can do better" when inside I really know that I can learn from that more successful person.

Just something to live by....

    Yep, absolutely.

Sometimes you just have to put aside your pride and ego so that you can learn something. A good slice of humble pie now and then is a good thing.

    I agree!

Always admit when you are wrong and be willing to learn!

Knowledge is power and even if you've a doctorate in certain field there comes a time in your life when a layman will be more wiser than you (situational). And, as you said "Never let yourself becoming to prideful to admit to learning from somebody"

The cool thing is when you put the ego aside you can learn something from EVERYBODY!

People who are more proficient in your craft, less proficient, equals, everybody. The moment carries the lesson, not the person. If you experienced it you can learn from it.

As much as you can throw your ego away, it tends to get in the way of success.

You're right bro', and a common saying that I HATE to hear others (and even sometimes myself) say is this:

"But I already know that", LOL! When we say statement's like that often, it's like we're cutting-off any NEW information that we could've received had we not been thinking that we "know it all"!

    My favorite quote:
