My "Internet Marketing" folder is 2GB. It contains almost everything I ever learned..100+ eBooks..100+ videos, at this point I'm having thoughts on deleting it all! Information overload is the word for it. Everything I know now I can easily start doing and be successful in my business.

Should I delete it?

The big question is...are you going to make a go at it? Sounds like you are sitting on the fence, I encourage you to go for it and start applying some of that knowledge!

As for the info...maybe put it on a DVD in a time lock safe so that you can refer to it later, after you have had a chance to put it to use.

This is what I would do...in all seriousness and of course modifications may have to be made depending on how much time you can committ.

I would spend 1 week...7 full days going over everything. Doing just read, but try and understand. Understand how things fit together, dont try and see what the book or resource is doing, but try and delve deeper and udnerstand why they are doing it. Go over everything. If you finish, go over everything again. Info overload will happen, its fine at this point. You are just trying to make connections at this point.

    Next step...

Now lock it all away. Put it on a cd or thumb drive, bring it to a safe place (maybe a relatives house). Then spend 1 full week developing a strategy based on what you learned. Be as detailed as possible.

And then its all about implementing THAT strategy. Dont stray and get lost and try other things. Stick to the plan. Stick to the plan. Stick to the plan.

    Stick to the plan!!!

hehe, sounding like a broken record huh?

Vulk, you say you "know" everything in that massive 2Gb mound of information and can easily do it, but the question I have is whether you've actually made any concerted effort to implement any of this knowledge in a consistent manner that has brought you results?

      I say never delete "knowledge."

I still have most everything I have downloaded in digital format. The best of
that is in 3-ring binders for reference. Every 2 years I have to replace the
3-ring binders because there's new and better stuff to collect.

I need that stuff....when I'm stuck; when I have to write and need
inspiration; when I can't remember what I know - you get the idea.

You can delete the junk, but never delete the "Knowledge."

Delete it but don't say I advised you to do it.

Hey, delete it but don't remove it from the recycle bin. No knowledge is a waste.

Yes, Diva. I still have the two dozen handwritten journals I compiled during the 1990's. Wouldn't dream of destroying them. I plan to give them to my son when he turns 25. It's a lot of immature gibberish, I'm sure. But whatever gems he can glean from it will only bless my legacy.
