Thank you for that, My mom says that people chase money and that is very true.

Scared money never attracts more money.

I agree. When I was desperate to "make money" I never really could.

Then I focused on building a business, or "my empire" as I like to call it (well - hopefully someday it will be one!). Once I made this mental shift I became more stable in my outlook and not wanting to jump from one thing to another. I focussed, I worked with greater dedication and things just grew and took off.

This is a very good point. Reminded me of a quote from the Bible:

Do not weary yourself to gain wealth,
Cease from your consideration of it.
When you set your eyes on it, it is gone.
For wealth certainly makes itself wings
Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.
(Proverbs 23:4-5)

Thanks to you all for your advice, it is quite true, we should not chase money without foundations, one requires systems in place that can generate wealth whether you are working or not, and a peaceful state of mind will help one acquire health quicker than a restless one trying to chase money.

Will the space falls the meat pie? most people know it won't, but they are waiting!

If you focus on providing value the money will come one day or another

If you are chasing anything, you will never catch it. Most of the population organizes there life around ways to make money. However, while most people believe that it is money that they are after, it is really happiness and a piece of mind that everyone is really seeking.

If someone is involved in IM just to make money, it may take a little while. However, if the marketer picks an area (niche) that they are passionate with, the money will come as a buy product.

The most successful people in the world do not perceive what they do as work. The more fun that your work or marketing is, the more quicker success and money comes.

I once read a quote on the NY sub on how to become wealthy by Andrew Carnegie: "The way to become rich is to put all your eggs in one basket and then watch the basket." Some people like me may relate to this. Sometimes I get trapped on trying to do many things at the same time, and none of them get done well.

Agreement here, as well. Think for a moment, how many times the question "How can I make $1000 by next month? or a similar phrase appears on these forums? I'm sure you can remember quite a few. Each of these is asking for how to make money without the fundamentals of building a business. Often, the reason for the time limitation is some significant life event that hopefully would be less of an issue if the money was available.

The focus is wrong, and often the response the question receives is directed at short term gain without thought of long term viability (if the response is helpful at all.)

I'm sure we have all experienced dry times in our lives, where we would have preferred to have more money, but if you think about it, any time you have focused entirely on money, it only took longer to achieve the goal of getting more.

As one of my gambling teachers was fond of saying: "Scared money always loses." If you've spent any amount of time in casinos, it is easy to see this in action. Unfortunately for many, the same principles work in IM.

Fortunately, there are forums like this one that allow people to seek and receive help.
