Letting go and relaxing is only part of the process. Just imagine telling the above to your children. I bet they would never want to go to school again. Unfortunately, it is not that easy.

  So we are used (made) to think. But school, at least the ordinary free public school, is rather meant to make people into the slaves our current bank-slavery society needs, not making them happy or independent who could live his/her life without the chains of loans.

Everything seeks balance. The reason we have to remember to "relax and allow" is because, for me, some of the following things can overwhelm my mind:

When I am going to be done?
When is this going to be perfect?
When am I going to get what I want?

It is in these moments that I have to remember to relax and allow, because "relax and allow" doesn't mean inaction, it means stop thinking unproductive thoughts that won't lead you to your goals.

The most important thing in manifesting is to get you entire unconscious mind behind your wish. This is not easy becasue the unconscious is - well, unconscious. You need to find a way to find out what is going on in that part of your mind and whether there is a part of you that opposes your wish.

Once you have aligned your entire conscious and unconscious mind behind your wish a natural relaxation sets in - that is the 'letting go' that is emphasized in every manifesting self-help book. However, you cannot start the process with letting go. You need to the active phase first.

It's true that the universal forces will bring you good results if you open up and allow yourself to receive the blessings that the universe supplies to you.

But, you also reap what you sow. Therefore, if you just keep daydreaming and don't do anything (take action), the universe won't do anything to help you either.

That's a very broad and non specific statement that could lead a person down the wrong path to personal destruction. Sometimes resistance is a preferable alternative.

For example, if I'm sailing and my destination is "into" the wind, if I relax and allow the wind to direct me, I'll be going in the wrong direction! However, if I work a little harder and apply the proper skills, I can adjust my sails and use the resistance to propel me towards my goal.

I agree with you. In fact i do not believe in that quote of letting the universal forces control you. For me, at times i have struggled with laziness and laxity, but have been trying to overcome this desire of my flesh whenever it comes, and this year i am turning on a new leaf!

Relaxing is a waste of time, if you are doing it a wrong time. It makes you lazy and a failure. i have experienced this and would like to correct my dear friend for the comment. Its misleading. Although all work without play makes jack a dull boy, and all play without work makes Jack a mere toy.

  I was going to say that I think your post only describes the end of the process...
  
  Get the object of what you want clear in your mind first. Then answer the question of WHY you want it - stir up that desire and the Universe will know that what you are asking for is what you really want. Finally, maintain an attitude of having already achieved what you asked for, as if it is here NOW.
  
  THEN we can let go; only then our work is done and we can "Relax and Allow"...

I think we are talking work/life balance here - being on high tension all the time does not bode well for longevity in any business.
Learning to turn off the monitor and go outside and do some gardening or outside activity can often unblock a mental trap and let you relax back into the workflow.

Give yourself time and be gentle on yourself.

I've experienced this in my life. The people who impressed me the most in a positive sense were those who emanated the strongest love & what do we know about love? Well, there is much to be discovered. We know that life is effortless when we are feeling it. And so it was for me.

What does struggle, goal setting and working hard activate within you? It activates resistance & limitation within me
Lack of belief
Lack of confidence
Lack of knowingness

Instead when I think of true allowing I feel
Knowing
Being
Allowing
Absolute worthiness
Peacefulness

It's truly a balance between setting an intention and completely allowing
It can be a POWERFUL INTENTION
Or it can be a slight suggestion
The universe responds in either case equally depending on the level of resistance that is being activated at the same time while offering the desire. Manifestations naturally follow
