Damn The Circumstances, Re-Write Your Script.

How often do you hear people say, "Oh, it's because I do not have money, that's why....", "it's my mum's fault, that is why...", "If only I had a degree, I will...", "It's Obama's fault, that is why I....", "Oh, It's the bank's fault, their interest rates....", they're always quick to lay the blame on others to justify their failures, they will never assess the prevailing circumstances objectively and take pragmatic and decisive actions, for it is much easier and self uplifting doing this. They fail to realise that when you point your finger at someone, at least three fingers point back at you, thus, they fail to search deep within themselves to see where the problem lies.

You need to understand, LIFE gives everyone a script to act out, but it gives you two options, Option 1: Act out the script the way it is. Option 2: Tear the script, re-write it the way you'll love to act on life's stage. Sadly, most people love Option 1, for it is much easier, comforting and non-stressful, but the end ends up in a life of constant want and misery.

The most important asset God has given each and everyone of us is a beautiful mind, and if you can task your beautiful mind, solutions will always come up. No servant loves stress, every servant desires to please his/her master and take a well earned rest, thus your beautiful mind/brain will always come up with solutions until you pick one, and your brain will be happy when you do not stress it over your problems. But anytime you task your brain, like a bonded servant, the brain is under obligation to provide you with solutions.

So, start tasking your beautiful brain, the solution(s) is much closer than you can imagine. For when you do this, you can tear LIFE'S SCRIPT, write out YOUR OWN SCRIPT, and swagger the way you want.

Keep Striving, Keep Believing, Never Give-Up. Winners Don't Quit and Quitters Don't Win.

It is so cool to read a post written by someone else that I have stated to many people many times, if everyone heeded those words just imagine what could be accomplished. It also reminds me of a line from "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd which is ....."And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?".....i don't know about the rest of you but I'll take the walk on.

I agree with you my friend, it's called the blame game. We never take it up on ourselves. It's on us to write the story of our own lives.

Accepting responsibility is a *huge* part of the goal achievement/self improvement jigsaw.

This also means accepting responsibility for the circumstances you are currently in.
Most current circucmstances can be traced back to decisions made in the past (obviously external influnces play their part too).

Once you accept this, you realise that as well as affecting your past, your decisions affect your future too, and once that happens, you are indeed ready to start writing your future as you choose it to be!

Absolutely agree with you. This idea is, in fact, the premise behind my book. I've found that people get so tied up in blaming others for their circumstances that they never stop to see what is really holding them back - if they would look in the mirror they would see the answer! Thanks for the great post.
