Do Personal Development WSOs sell?

I'm thinking about releasing a free WSO on building self-confidence followed by a product on developing an IM million dollar mindset.

What's your opinion of personal development WSOs? Has anyone had any success with them?

Warm regards

Nic

There's a pretty recent and good discussion of this here:

A personal development WSO will definitely sell...if you present it in the right way.

    Of course! Mine does!

It's all about value--do you explain how this development is going to kick them over the top?

I think a lot of people are interested in personal development. This is especially true if it helps lead them to the success they desire. So present it in the right way and the audience for it will find it and probably love it, if it teaches them something new about improving themselves.

Interesting that you mention PLR - I'm thinking of launching a product as dual use; people can use it for their own self-development and resell the product as is.

That depends entirely on what exactly you are offering as well as how it's presented.

Even if the statement "there is no magic button" has been drilled into everyone's skulls for quite some time, many people STILL carry that mentality... they might know *intellectually* that there is no magic button, but the point hasn't been driven home, so to speak. People like their comfort zones, and changing the mindset is about as far outside of your comfort zone as you can get. This is why "make money while doing nothing" products sell - they give the impression you can make money AND stay in your comfort zone. Doesn't happen.

Unfortunately, a shift in mentality is exactly what most people NEED, even though "millionaire mindset" isn't NEARLY as sexy as "make money in 24 hours with no effort". Those who buy the latter tend to (emphasis on *tend to*) keep up the vicious cycle, even though they may deny it and say they are "for real" this time.

How do you present the former, then, and give the starving market what they NEED and not just what they *want*?

Sales copy is EVERYTHING in this business.

    Hey Nic,

Having been lucky enough to have been given a sampler MP3 of your Self Confidence audio track I feel that you are on a winner.

The material is concise and well presented, your voice tone and modulation are excellent, and it is short enough that I can fit it in before breakfast in the morning.

I hope that you are able to release it soon so that other warriors can also enjoy it.

Take good care of those that you love.
