What Is The Foundation Of Your IM Business?

I was thinking about this for myself this afternoon, "What is My business built on?". Well it's not a true business in that sense, but I need a foundation to build on so that what I do with regard to marketing becomes exactly that - A business.

I have a desire, a passion to create money from my efforts that come from sitting at the computer and taking action.

But where does that begin? What steps do I take? What tools must I have to achieve my desire? What is my measure of success?

Getting back to the foundation, what is it that your business is built on? Of course it starts with a desire, but from what? To get out of debt? Not working for the Man!? Want to travel the World? Like shiny toys? What led you down the path of IM, that made you want to start building a business from nothing?

I've had a recent period of not having a clear sense of direction, and I want 2013 to be what 2012 was not!

What foundation do I need to lay? Have you heard that song, "The wise man built his house upon the rock"? Well I want to create a foundation for my business, not a pretend one but a real one that has a purpose and achieves what I want from it.

What foundation have you laid for your business. What does it comprise of?

A lot of questions but I hope you understand what I mean.
