Prosperity Consciousness: What does it mean to you?

I've experienced great success as well as empty cupboards with 4 hungry kids in diapers during my lifetime, so I've seen both sides of the coin. I can vehemently endorse the fact that the proverbial "law of attraction" is real and can work FOR or AGAINST you.

When I began to worry (which is merely fear - f-alse e-vidence a-ppearing r-eal) about money, my money troubles worsened. The fact is, while I worried about the outcome, if I guessed right, it was only worse, so what was the point? Besides, worry is a lack of faith (whether in yourself or a higher power) and you can't be in faith and fear at the same time. At least, this has been my experience.

Another point to the equation is that Anger is a product of Fear, so you can see, even mathematically how worry, ties right into Frustration, Fear and Anger (all negative responses to the task you have at hand). Hmmmm.....

Alternatively, when I have pictured what the success I was going after looked like, let go of worry and fear and replaced it with focus, hard work and determination coupled with repetitive positive affirmations about myself and my goal and visualized what my goal was going to look like, I was able to retrain my subconscious mind and somehow miraculously my worries went away and good things starting happening again.

Success is getting up one more time than you fall, and I've had to clean my knees off lots of times on my journey. All I know for certain, as I have proved it to myself over and over again, that I can never allow my present situation to dictate my future, and that if focus on the positive outcome I'm striving toward and believe and focus on the positives and not sit around stewing about how I'm going to make the mortgage payment, the money shows up and all is good.

I have ignored the LOA with great success. I have stopped wasting my time arguing with people about the LOA and if it is real or not or thinking about it. The concept personally never made one bit of sense to me. People don't attract things good or bad to themselves. Sick kids did not attract sickness.

That said, there is nothing wrong with a solid positive attitude and expecting success while taking action.

There is nothing wrong with feeling the pain of the situation one is in and using it to motivate yourself to do better. Some people like to imagine they have wealth when they don't. Hey if it works great.

I tend to focus on the actions I know lead to success and find this leads to the results I want.
