The 3 C's OF Business

Just some thoughts I've had, studying both mine and a few other business owners' business growth pathways.

The 3 C's are... Confidence, Challenge & Control.

Confidence
You need to have a fixed set of rules, that back you up - one of the key things is measurement of progress. Tracking and tweaking your business is essential to any form of progress, because it turns it into a scientific step-by-step progress.

You need to express Confidence to your customers. If you don't as a business, how are people going to believe you? Show off the track record, the social proof and testimonials. Dare the competitors. If you do not agitate anyone, you do not invigorate any customer.

Challenge
You need to constantly challenge yourself and step out of "what is working" into "what can work more?" - of course, combined with Confidence in a step-by-step scientific progression.

You need to give your customers and competitors a Challenge. See what they're offering, and make a better perceived deal. The war is won psychologically, only occasionally physically.

Control
As a business-owner, you sometimes have the luxury of handling your own time. When I was starting off, I always procrastinated and went off to do things like playing golf for 'stress release'. The reality is far away from the truth: You do not have time, because you need to schedule your time in blocks and make sure you are using 80% of your working time to grow your business. Control is about self-control.

You also need to control your business direction. Keep your business set up as a start-up, and always aim for growth instead of maintenance. Why? Because when competitors angle their businesses as start-ups, they're going to suck up your market share.

I like that, those are important. I also think we need to have the three P's as well:

    Passion
Gotta not just love what you do, you gotta feel so strongly about it that no one can tell you your plan will not work, we dont develop this quality because they dont ever teach us to love what we do maybe 'cause they dont love what they do. But now that i know, its on.

    Persistence
Its gonna work, its gonna work, its gonna work. But why do people like to tell usno it qont work, be careful, youre crazy, who gives anybody the right to tell others what to so with our lives the damn fascists?

    Perspiration
Gotta do the work, the studying, the labor, the due dilligence, many people fail toerire enough, they dont like to sweat it put, me i dont mind so much, as long as my sweat gets me to the top, i dont mind so much.

    Thanks for the thoughtful insights.

For the most part I agree with the three C's.

You're right guys, you can never be successful in any business venture if you don't have such qualities. They seem easy to have but it need enough faith and self-discipline in order to become focus with those qualities.

      Thank you for reading, LastingLifeSuccess.

The biggest problem I find many entrepreneurs face is keeping up with the 3 C's on a continuous basis. Once their businesses shift into profit, they end up slowly relaxing - and one of the Cs are forgotten.

Exactly. It takes continuous self-talk and motivation to push yourself forward.

I have this huge board of affirmations which I look at everyday - and self-reflect on them. I personally think motivation is a habit you make - not a feeling you simply get.
