Is there any coming native embedding of auto read QR for mobile phone cams?

Has anyone come across a QR reader app that utilizes the default phone camera app?

oops I mean an app, once downloaded, makes your camera app a QR code reader without having to use the separate app. So using your mobile camera it automatically recognizes a bar code or QR code when in viewfinder.

QR droid can read a QR either from a picture taken while the app is open, or from a picture of a QR in the phone's gallery, but you can't just take a picture of a QR and have the app automatically read it. You have to open the app and select the picture from the gallery. Don't know of any platforms that read it natively or that automatically see the cam has snapped a QR and opened it. Next gen, methinks.

I'm sure that technology is coming (good ole product toll-out), but for now you still need the app.

The Calgary Sun and Business owner have published latest weblogs, major organizations are developing these unique requirements in their marketing strategies, you see them online, on ads, on symptoms and yes even on credit charge playing greeting cards.

I've tried others but ended up using iScan.it
It only takes one click.

What is the smallest a QR code be? I have tried scanning some on some direct mail pieces and they don't work when they are really small. Other times they work fine. Is there an optimal size QR codes needs to be to be read when saturation direct mail campaigns go out?

Thanks in advance!

It isn't just based on what size the qr code is, each reader is unique and can react differently from another one. Then there is the qr code image as well. I've had qr codes "branded" that would scan by one phone but not another. I personally would hesitate to go any smaller than an inch by inch. There's just too many variables to have 1 answer.

I do voice over work... here's a SAMPLE
