How to create and manage a mobile app through WordPress
 

I'm looking for a solution to build a mobile app using wordpress.
Then it'll be easier for me to manage the app through wordpress CMS.
My first preference is for a free wordpress plugin if available. One else a one time payment without paying monthly or annually. :rolleyes:

I searched for this too for a separate project. There is WiziApp, which looks fairly popular, but I don't like how the app designs seemed limited. What I am doing instead is creating an App via RedFoundry because they allow for beautiful app creation, and then setting it to scrape the Wordpress site's content. Check them out. They are a bit more advanced though. Good luck!

Do you mean an actual mobile app or a mobile website? Building a mobile app through wordpress is an unusual way to go about app development.

There's not a good way to develop mobile apps in Wordpress. I certainly haven't been impressed with any of the plugins that I've used. One relatively simple solution would be to use PhoneGap, and just have it load your Wordpress page.

Yeah, a PhoneGap build with just an iframe to your site would be your best bet if you want to have a mobile app that's managed via WordPress.
