The platform I am using for creating my mobile devices gives the option of adding Google adsense to each site which brought to mind an idea: Give client free site. Charge them 'free' hosting for a trial period just to get things active (maybe 3 months then $10/month after) w/ them allowing you to put your Google adsense ads on their site. Target potentially high traffic sites locally. ---Do you think businesses would go for this? Get 100+ local sites making $1 per site per day and you could have some nice recurring revenue. I know the risk: Google can ban any adsense account at any time but its just a thought. |

I think it's a good idea but it could go one of two ways. 1. They enjoy have a basically free site and won't complain about a few choice ads. 2. They feel the ads will detract attention from their business and won't go for the deal. The best way to find out is to market it to some people and see how it goes. |

Let me know when you find a real business owner who doesn't mind another business advertising on their site. Honestly, I'd show you the door... lol |

I'd have to concur with this to be honest no serious business will want any distraction from their business on their website mobile or desktop.. | |

I also agree, most businesses will want to focus on promoting their own products and services and won't want to have their visitors distracted by other offers.
