Ad networks - zero impressions so far
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi, I recently started to try out mobile marketing and have even made a campaign in the ad network TapIt.

Following the ebooks and tips i've read so far, I chose the minimum bid of $0.05 CPC. However I still haven't received any impressions so far.

Is this normal? How long would I wait to start seeing my ad being shown? Should I increase the bid amount or simply wait?

Thank you for any help.

Ps i'm promoting a CPA offer

Hey alexmkt
Mobile ad networks follow the same concept of PPC, to display your ads you need to increase you bid amount (as higher is your biding amount more your ads will show up). Additionally you can also try in-app advertising, so people using some apps similar to your will get to know about your apps and may download it.

Thanks for the response.

Would you know what minimum bid would I have to place on average to start seeing a good speed of impressions delivery in these networks? I don't want to overpay and end up harming any profit that I may make from it.

Hi Alexmkt,
As like any other subject in life - it depends. What market, which devices? Carriers?... First thing to do is to make tests amongst several markets/vendors/carriers/devices/OSs.
Once you'll do the right optimization - you'll find the way to triumphant.
And remember - the money does not come easy! Invest time and financial efforts, it will take time.
Good luck!
Daniel.

Market Saturation is the key factor that no book or guru will tell you about. Unless you increase your bids you are guaranteed to see no action in your ads.

Sorry for sounding so negative but it is the cold reality nowadays.

It's not rocket science... just start increasing your bids and
continue increasing them until you either start getting the
number of impressions you want or the cost becomes more
than you want to pay.

If you knew what I know you'd be doing what I do...
