I want to add a form to my Wordpress site to allow visitors to send me a message via text. Ideally I want to capture their mobile # too so I can reply via text. I can't find any Wordpress plugins, or at least I can't manage to get any to work. Has anyone had success implementing something like this? I'm not a coder. Thanks! |

Hi Celeste, would you be using Twilio to send the SMS message or someone else? I have something similar that's standalone but could be easily adapted for WordPress. Let me know. Cheers, Jay |

Also check if your reseller has code to place on your site. The reseller I have allows me to put a TXT message sign up form on my site.

Andrew Mitchell had a WSO last week with a pop up form that would allow your users to opt-in to your SMS.... and then they would be added to your account over at SignalHQ. Looked pretty easy to me. kind regards, Hugh |

I do this now with my clients but its more for building lists, not getting sms messages myself. That's a cool idea though. What I do is tie the popup form (using a free popup wp plugin) to an openvbx flow. Visitor enters their phone number to opt in and they get saved into a database and SMS reply is sent to their phone.
