Peter Pan, Live! - Tonight at 8 PM Eastern

NBC's ambitious undertaking of a live presentation of Peter Pan will air this evening. If there is only one reason to view this, it would be to watch Christopher Walken as Captain Hook lend his oddly weird style of dancing to his oddly weird style of acting. He started started his career as a 'song and dance man,' but I think it could be decades since he has polished his tap shoes.
Peter Pan was my favorite childhood story and watching Mary Martin as Peter was an enthralling experience. She was born to play that role.
I was shocked that they got through the live presentation of The Sound of Music without a hitch, but this should pose many more opportunities for disaster. I hope it is mishap free.
