    Yeah, it's a great song and he does it some justice. Here is Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown with an awesome acoustic cover of Black.


    Aaron Lewis of Staind does a pretty good acoustic version as well...he puts a lot of "feeling" into a it, maybe a bit too much for some folks.


    And Vetter back in 1992...

    Love that. He uses barred chords but it is a very easy song to play with open chords if you are learning just E-A and C-Em-D:

    Black is an awesome tune... No doubt!

    For me.... the "unplugged" or "acoustic" versions lack the "haunting" effects of the electric guitar in the original....

      I like acoustic versions of most songs. IMO it just feels less glamorized.

        Most of the time I would agree with your sentiment. But for me, in this case, Rich is right. Their "electric" version is much better.
