Doctor Zhivago and a part in Lawrence of Arabia were his main starring roles.

          Claude was implicated in the mysterious death of Colonel Saunders. He would often blurt out in public: "I could murder a KFC"

          Omar was a prolific Bridge player, and I think a world champion at it once. He was repeatedly banned from San Francisco for messing with the Golden Gate.

            Mark; When it was stated that Omar Sharif was a champion Bridge player, they meant a card game....called Bridge.

            You're talking about the Golden Gate Bridge...which is an actual bridge, not a card game.

              Every day I give thanks for the infinite wisdom I get from this forum. If it had not been for the likes of you, Dan Riffle, Big Frank, Frank Donovan, Terra K, Lexi and Seasoned ( But not Kurt) I would have died from the embarrassment of my ignorance and naivety by now.

              To that end I had written to his Holiness in Rome and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the hope of getting some sort of recognition for you all. Unfortunately, the 5 dollar Walmart gift card and Lottery ticket I received was a little disappointing.

    Oh, my heart just flipped. During the Dr Zhivago days, I was just crazy over that man. Wasn't the worst looking man of his age class at 80 either.
