A Little Help Regarding Reviews Please?

If you saw this earlier, I completely edited this to make it shorter and hopefully more likely to get responses.

Question: When doing a review of an infoproduct, would you give a bad review or have a negative reaction if you discovered that the product was several years old and the content was unedited PLR? The quality of the content is pretty good except for the PLR factor.

Question: Would you mention in your review that it was unedited PLR?

Really appreciate your opinion if you can spare a minute to answer.

Thanks.

I would say it was unedited PLR and that the quality was good.

Yes, I'd mention that it was unedited PLR, especially seeing as this concerns you. But if you feel the product is good, and still relevant, I'm not sure how age alone is relevant. I'm guessing your own library contains a classic or three that you feel are still worth reading.

Mark, I think there are two issues here. On the one hand, there's your opinion of the quality of the product. On the other, it's a matter of integrity on behalf of the product owner.

If it were me giving the review, it would be a negative factor if the product owner failed to mention it was actually an unedited PLR piece - especially if he was claiming it as his own work.

As a reviewer, I'd also want potential buyers to be aware before they purchase that there might be similar or identical products already published.

I assume you would have brought it up if the seller does not have the rights to sell unedited PLR.
