          I learned the Archer point count method (might have been the simplified version) at about age 15...but I don't care for Blackjack. I used to play a bit of relatively high stakes poker --> I started playing for cash in the neighborhood around age 14, played a lot of poker in the Navy, got my wife into it a bit, but when I hit a casino it's the wheel for me.

          I don't know what you call it...but I have always had a good feel for the wheel. I am a fairly decent gut guy, a stats guy, and when it comes to games and gaming I have always had what many folks call "good luck". Sports betting --> I do like picking the NFL some seasons, and I only bet *sure* things.

          Back to the wheel...

          I'm not a traditional player of this particular game by any stretch. I bet almost exclusively red or black. Yeah, I know... My technique, --> I watch the table for an extended period of time to track the red/black percentages. Usually 5 to 10, maybe 15 minutes, and if I don't see and feel a solid pattern developing, I hit the next table. Whenever I do see a trend develop that I feel I can exploit, I throw down on the prevailing color. If I go back and forth with the house on 4 or 5 spins I'm out, if I knock down similar percentages, I keep money in play. Once I triple my money or better then I'm automatically out...and I rarely let it ride.

          My objective is to try to make three or four decent hits and bail. It works well for me.. . Now, with my wife, it's different story. Unfortunately, she has (or makes) terrible "luck" and always has. . She can't be anywhere near the wheel when I am playing...screws up the the feel, screws up the wheel, busts the trends etc. About 25 years ago she realized she was messing with the gaming gods, not in my favor, and now she feeds the damn poker machines while I wait for the right time to plunk my chips down.

          Black is my favorite, but I will happily date red if need be.

          Nothing better than doubling or tripling my money in a few spins and then walking away. I learned a very long time ago...take your profits and run --> come back for more another day.
