Are you guys ready for the epic grand finale of the Star Wars Saga in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker? What kind of job do you think Disney has done so far? Anyone else pre-order their tickets? Have you rewatched all the Star Wars movies in preparation? May the Force be with you

    Seen every movie.

I am now conditioned to tear up every time I hear the music. To me, this is modern day myth.

I strongly suspect that in 1,000 years scholars will be debating the Star War Saga, and many will think it's real.

I also think that in 1,000 years, we'll have a group of people that firmly believe that Superman was real, and that he was a deity.

We know this isn't true...because we are alive now. But eventually these fictional characters become myths, legends, and dogma.

Even now, there are people that think that Sherlock Holmes was real.

Do you think Zues and Odin were real?

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

My wife and I watched it yesterday.
A series of great moments to give fans what they wanted. But as a movie, it was a jumbled mess. (for me, anyway.)Hard to keep track of what was going on...and several moments when something made no sense at all...even in the Star Wars universe.

The only thing I'll say that is close to a spoiler is that Carrie Fisher's scenes were obviously written around to make them fit the story. The fight scenes are especially good.Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver really brought their A games here.

But as far as being a Star Wars fan? You'll be glad you watched it.

VII was OK-ish though Solo and Leia carried the movie. I couldn't even finish VIII. It tried to be Stanley Kubrick with lightsabers and failed on all accounts.

Kylo Ren is the weakest villain in the serie:

A reviewer said that you could ignore The Last Jedi (#8) . It was an experiment in going a different direction, and it mostly failed (although I thought it had a few great moments. The light speed ramming ...while silent ..was a real masterpiece).

The Rise Of Skywalker resets the series to what we used to know and love. I just thought the story was a tad convoluted.

It took Skywalker 3 movies to beat Vader and he lost his hand in the process.
Rey already beat Ren in VII --- where is the character growth? She's the exact same at the beginning of VII as the end of VIII.

I watched a guy review the current one, (and not in a good way, but l looked past that) and my brother said it was good, but it seems the visuals being Disney are very good, and the story is complex, and just like the previous two, some scenes are cringleworthy.

So just like Jumangi, (that is running out of steam) l will wait til l can rent it!

The Death Star one was the exception.

I started to explain why I liked the movie...but then it occurred to me...you're either a fan or your not. If you're a Star Wars fan, this movie is pretty good (an 86% score on Rotten Tomatoes).

If you're not already a fan, most of the movie won't make any sense.

I liked the first one, mainly because I saw when I was 15. When the second one came out I was 18 and all the way through it the character of C3PO annoyed the crap out of me. I haven't watched any of them since.

LIAR! I looked it up and Braille has nothing to do with the force!

In my estimation, this is not the worst part of the last, after Lucas, I would rate it 4 out of 5 points. But before filmed somehow atmospheric, or something, but now, it's not quite what it was before, unfortunately.
