Here is my understanding....we can just title this 'ignoramus 101'...
If I buy an Amazon Fire Stick thingie for my TV I can then stream the new DiscoveryPlus. As I understand it, because I have Amazon Prime, once I buy the stick there is no monthly charge for the basics though i would pay for DPlus subscription.
I have cable on a 70 inch Sony and can access Netflix and Amazon Prime, etc directly....but I'm totally lost on how I access DiscoveryPlus. Everything I've read says newer Samsung TVs have access but when I start reading 'how to upgrade so your sony can stream....' my eyes cross and the text reads like 'blah blah blah' to me.
So guess the question is if I buy the firestick thingie for my TV to stream discovery plus....does that interfere with the other 'stuff' on my TV - will I just be able to access the firestick when I WANT to rather than have to work around it all the time?
Does that make any sense? Probably not. I'm sure I'm making it harder than it is - it's what I do best...
