Okay so most of us are pretty satisfied with our personalities, temperament, mindset etc...etc..

But if you could change one thing ( or several) about the way you behave or think what would it be ??

Me ? I can be talkative and social and have no problems carrying on conversations with people. But if Iam on a bus alone or on a plane I cannot stand someone ( a stranger) next to me making "small talk". It just annoys me to no end. So I wish my mindset was one where I would embrace it better and have more patience with it.

How about you ??

I am better and more relaxed when talking within a group of people but I sometimes used to clam up and have nothing to say. That has greatly lessened over the years.

A great way to stop people talking to you on buses or planes is to start discussing the Mandela Effect. A few may be really interested, fail, but most will think you are either loony or if you pose several examples as questions and they get them wrong, it will freak them out and they will stop talking to you.

Keeping your attention on a smartphone and having earbuds in is great defense against the stranger danger small talk. Unless you are in a tourist area where the strangers are from around the world and visiting. The locals tend to want to feel out your political views.

I am not a normal person and I put to much effort in trying to give some logical or seemingly reasonable explanation for what I am doing or the things I do. I should be more willing to give the offensive reasons.

I have basically reversed diabetes since June and lost over 50 pounds. With little effort. And only a few days here and there when I was really hungry. I basically just eat in a 4 hour window almost every day and go 20 hours without eating. That's just to hard for normal people. Normal people at least in the USA only socialize with people outside of work while eating and drinking alcohol.

I think I'm going to shift from using the term most people to normal people.

Now the hard part begins as I need to keep the weight of as I am eating more to maintain the weight I am at . I still have 20 pounds to lose. But I mentally couldn't deal with the lack of food and the weight lose had slowed down with the cold weather. As it gets warmer I am walking around more and will start walking the mile and a half to the grocery store every few days. I've only had resources to buy food a few days and have not needed to get to the store yet.

No difference between 'normal' and 'most' - both words are generalities about other people. EVERYONE says 'I'm not normal....I'm different/special/etc. You can analyze a large group for characteristics that provide a 'norm' - but no one is 'normal'.

Intermittent fasting is an excellent method to lose weight and to become more aware of what you are eating. It's also very healthy according to my doctor.

Yeah I' ve gotten the same response from my doctor as well. I think it is the way to go if you want a change in lifestyle ( and not just a regular yo yo diet) and you want to lose weight and remain healthy.

As a lifelong runner and a self- subscribed fitness nut, I am beginning more and more to have respect towards Walkers ( whereas before I would thumb my nose at them being a "superior Runner" that I was). It seems that Walking has ALL the benefits of Running minus the toll it takes on the joints from Running.

If you need the endurance from running and that works for you you it is great. Even with walking if I don't have the right shoes I end up limping and having soar joints. I prefer an air bike or a rowing machine for cardio. But more so the air bike and I'm a machine guy versus free weight.

There are a verity of options it's what you will do and what you can maintain with consistency that gives you the results you want. The other benefits of out door exercise and activity is the effect sunlight has on regulating mood. Even if it's just your face and eyes getting the sunlight.

If anything what I wish I could change about my personality is how fast the changes and improvements I make become part of my self image. I don't know how to explain it. If I get fit with and lose the last 20 pounds I need to lose. It may take a year or to before it fully registers and it sets in. Mentally.

But I was shy much of my life until six years ago and I will still shift to introvert mode even though I'm far more outgoing.

Adding before I make a go at losing the last 20 pounds I have to figure out if there i a natural method to get rid of the extra skin around my abdomen. I was expecting it before I lost the weight but I wasn't expecting to lose the weight as fast as I have.

I wish I had more empathy for others. And I would like to be kinder to those I don't enjoy talking to. I wish I was more understanding of other people point of view.

On a related note, I recently have been given the ability to see in other realities. In most of these other versions of myself, I am guilty of murdering the last person who mentioned The Mandela Effect.

If its any consolation , your participation in this very forum is indicative of a man with much empathy for others

As I suspected, the Mandela Effect has permeated through to nearly all alternate realities along with psychopathic tendencies Somebody call a plumber.
