Nathan Faulkner... who resurrected me from the abyss,
to whom I will always be grateful.


I would like to offer you something that to me, is the most
beautiful thing I have ever experienced in my life.

I first heard this when I was about 5, and it struck me as
something not of this world. Forget all the implications and
associations, if you want.

It is inspired, and every time I hear this it's just like the first
time when I was 5. It takes me to a place that is much nicer
than where we are. It is the place where I truly reside each
and every day.

I will not be around much, anymore. So I wanted to do this. It's
the only thing I can offer to you.

    I just want to offer my thanks and appreciation to Sal, Patrician, Mark,
    and Lee for your thoughtful comments and good wishes.

    I received a message from someone asking if I was all right. I am.

    Then the obvious occurred to me about what I wrote. I did not intend to
    cause any alarm. I really do apologize for this.

    I will be around and will certainly keep in touch with people.

    Right now, it snowed like hell last night, this morning, and it's still snowing. So
    I'm hunkered down with my cats and writing, drinking hot tea, and
    generally enjoying the day.
