Thanks. At one-month of age, he seems more like his mommy than me in appearance, I'd reckon (genetics is a mysterious thing). Yup, and he's learned the power of self-expression (aka achieving desired objective by crying).

Appearances keep changing so it is too early to judge who he is going to resemble.

Here's wishing him a healthy and happy life. Enjoy your baby, that's the best thing that can happen to a couple...seeing a part of themselves in a whole new being. And you begin to appreciate your parents more as well!

Thanks. Cuddly he is. Today, I found that placing him in a car seat then singing to him got him to sleep without being in Mommy's or Daddy's arms (I never thought of my out-of-tune vocals as soothing. Maybe he fell asleep so he wouldn't have to listen to it any more)

har har. Singing is a nice thing though. That's one of those things found cross-culturally...that people sing to their babies.

So, we're watching American Idol finale and basically every time we're watching the show, listening to the music, this one-month-old lets out a cry like he wants all the focus to be on him always. He somehow senses when our attention might have wandered away from him a bit. I find that kind of freaky.

lol just had one myself who is a dream (if held and fed 24hrs a day as well) lol any down time in her two objectives and it's game on and full blast cry fest. Don't think i've slept 3hrs straight in 2mths.
