Whose idea was it to hold a match at the Ballmer family reunion?

So if people go to psychotherapy they don't need chairs - they get these nice little fuzzy bats that they can beat people with all damn day and not hurt anything. I'm wondering if no pain for the target doesn't just negate the pleasure, though. If I'm going to throw something, I want it to hurt someone.

There must some sort of fulfilling "guy thing" about throwing stuff.

When my sons were young we spent many weekends camping and had a favorite picnic area in a nearby park, too. No matter how much swimming and boating and hiking and all we did - it always included throwing rocks into streams or sticks into woods or something.

When it was time to leave I used the countdown of "you can throw 10 more rocks and then it's time to go"...
