I used to like Hide and Seek like other user here. It was quite exciting especially when you have quite a big mansion of buildings to use as a hiding place with around 10 to 15 persons to play with.

Mine was a game called 'run outs' it was a bit like hide and seek but you played it outside usually in the woods,it starts with two people counting and everyone else runs off and hides then the aim of the game is to get back to a safe place without getting caught and the first two caught have to count in the next game.I think we made this game up but im not sure.

    Hello Chris.

I would have to say Stratego. Remember that one? Monopoly and Life were pretty cool too.

On warm summer evenings, usually after dinner - twilight time - we used to play kick the can. I lived on a dead-end street with woods across the street and there were some 20 kids in my neighborhood. Kick the can was ALWAYS fun.

My brother and I would spend entire DAYS playing stoop ball. We lived in an old, 100 year old house that had a wrap around porch with 6 concrete steps. My brother was usually the Yankees and I was usually the Mets. For three summers, we had entire seasons.

In the winter we used to "raid" the local shopping malls (I grew up in northern NJ and there were about 4 I could ride my bike to, or take the bus) and we would play manhunt in the malls. We ran around, going through all the stores, looking for the other team. We got kicked out a few times too.

Life and Monopoly were my favourites. I wanted to get Life for my kids when they brought it back out again a couple of years back but it wasn't the same as the old version

I'm answering this because I had a couple of unusual favorites. One, I grew up on a horse ranch so we liked to play cowboys while riding real ponies. Two, believe it or not, we used to have slingshot fights while roaming the woods.

    We . were . kind . of . crazy.
