Your all-time favourite games?

After starting the thread about first computers and reading all the posts, I've come over all nostalgic so I've started this thread.
I don't have any of my old computers anymore, so I've decided to download some emulators and some games, just to show my young nephews what I loved to play when I was their age. They'll laugh their socks off - the oldest thing they ever had was a Playstation 2!
So, for the older members of the forum who used anything pre-PC, I'd like to ask you to compile a list of your all time favourite games - top 5 or 10 if you like. Any platform or any age or type of game - just the ones that had you hooked when you were younger.
I haven't completed my list yet, I can't decide as there's so many to choose from....
