Any climate shift or change usually takes thousands of years or at the very least a few hundred years to affect a certain area of the world. As far as full global, climate change is concerned, we're talking millennia and so if there is a change in temperature for a few years, even a decade, it's most likely just a cycle of weather and not an actual climate shift.

That's what they used to think. They have found that an Ice age can hit as quickly as a decade.

Gee, when I went to school, this was a GIVEN! Weather ChANGES! HECK, they talk about going closer to the sun, changes in the sun, the earth shifting on its axis, etc.... SO, weather would have to CHANGE to remain the same in a given area. But how likely is that? NOPE, weather has, and WILL, change. Change is the ONE constant! Ironic, but TRUE!

One of the problems associated with weather change is perception.

As a far out example, if the data for a given date for the last hundred years shows that 50 times it had a high temp of 20 degrees on that date, and the other 50 times in that century it was 30 degrees on that date, then it is expressed as that date has an average high temp of 25 degrees when in fact there was never a 25 degree high on that date.

Now, if there are nine women in a room and only one of them is pregnant, but she's nine months pregnant, than you can statistically claim that each woman is one month pregnant and get away with it.

it basically gets down to this...follow the money...

Good idea...Know anyone that's making more money than Big Oil and The US Military Industrialization (that Eisenhower warned us about) that gets half its budget to protect Big Oil?
