Video's stop and restart?

Recently, when I play a YouTube video or another type of video, the video starts playing, but then around 40 seconds or so into the video it suddenly stops and the video restarts back to the beginning. It doesn't always stop at the same point in the video though, it stops randomly. This happens in both IE and Chrome.

Any idea what could be causing this?

    I had that more or less happen to me recently, any video l played from my computer or online would stutter, every 3 seconds or so.

    But after restarting and defragging, and using an antivirus software it got rid of the problem.

    Updating Apple iTunes, may have caused the glitch, with my Windows 7, player?
