Ron Palillo, known as Horshack on the tv Show Welcome Back Kotter has died at the age of 63.

Ah, I didn't take in much of what happened in January, I was in the hospital a lot of that month.

3M, I'm going to disregard that remark,and I honestly don't know why you even said it.

C'mon, it wasn't that bad...it was a running gag on the show - every time Epstein was trying to get out of something, he would bring in a forged note from his mother...it was his signature play...(no disrespect intended)

Sad news - 63 just isn't that old. Kotter was a show I think most people my age enjoyed.

This has been quite a year for celebrity deaths and I agree, 63 isn't old at all.

Kotter was in syndication by the time I caught on to it but I loved it just the same. Now the song is going to be stuck in my head all day.

  When Welcome Back Kotter first came on the air, everybody used to call me
  Horshack. I took it as a compliment as he was my favorite character on the
  show and the main reason I watched it. Yeah, I looked and sounded a lot like
  him when I was a kid.
  
  So his death hits me kind of hard. I always related to him. We were so much
  alike.
  
  Arnold...RIP my friend.
