    My thoughts on caviar...

Why would anyone choose to eat fish eggs? ICK!

Puts a big dent in the Beluga Whale and Sturgeon populations.

As a byproduct of other fish products/catches it is normally
much cheaper, tasty and nutritious. Maybe worth a try if budgeting
      these days.

    Hi Mike,

Beluga is a sturgeon from what I read. How does it affect whales?

There is a beluga whale but the caviar so prized comes from Beluga sturgeon, I think.

However, the srurgeon most prized for caviar are endangered because of the harvesting for the market of the fish eggs.

To me, it looks odd, smells strange, and tastes awful. I hope my tastes never become sophisticated to the point where I would participate in destroying a species to eat its eggs.

Oh yeah, you are so right about that.. I would go for chickens and ducks if I want eggs.. not fish or anything else that has eggs..
