I almost posted this in the success forum, but I think it can also probably go here too. Do you have too much stuff? Why not get rid of some of it?

I got rid of everything but what I need and family heirloom stuff a couple years back. It's surprising how attached we can get to crap we don't need or never use. Getting rid of it kinda made me twinge - but it was a very liberating experience.

My memories are anchored to items. There are a lot of people like me.

Getting rid of things would literally erase a lot of my memories.

Might be worth it to some of you but not me.

Perhaps those items are things that you do need.

Personally, if I have multiple keepsakes from 10 years ago from the same event, now, I'll probably only want to keep one. This is probably going to differ for everyone. But maybe someone should re-evaluate their level of sentimentality if they have so much stuff that the amount of stuff they actually have is causing problems in their life. That is just my thoughts on that.
