I have been trying to log into my Gmail account for days. I have searched Google for instructions on how to log in, but can't find anything that works.

Every time I try to log in, I always get, this Gmail account already belongs to someone. No shit, it belongs to me. But do you think I can get logged in? Not a damn chance. What the hell is going on? Where is the log in URL to log into my account?

You should be able to login at gmail.com... This is quite puzzling. Having researched this a little, it seems to be a bug with Gmail. People have been able to login thinking it was their new email account only to find hundreds of emails the previous user had on the account. :s

That could be a possible reason of might be someone stole your account. Hacked maybe.

Look for some help at Google Contact Page

Are you saying your account has been hacked and someone has changed the password?

No, it has nothing to do with hacking. It's because someone registered it previously and then had it reset/deleted and you've now registered it.

Well it really sucks. This email is supposed to forward to my desktop email, but it is not doing that. And i can't get in as I can only get a dialog that is for registering new email accounts. I can not get the log in dialog load.

If you restart your router, will it give you a different ip address? If not, try accessing gmail from a friend's house or a hotel/cafe in case it's an ip problem.

I think it's not an IP problem, maybe it has something to do with 'account ownership' or hacking maybe. If someone restarts his router (if the router was set to dynamic) it will renew its IP once the full restart is completed. Otherwise, if it's a static IP, you will always get the same IP no matter how many times you restart the router. Just my thoughts on this.

The best thing you could do would be to contact Gmail in an attempt of having them resolve the issue for you.

Yea, I would try logging into one of Google's other services, and then access gmail from there.

If this link doesn't work, then the problem is on your end.
