First, dont go to devry. They aren't as high speed as they play themselves off to be and you can't transfer credits from them to a state level school if you want to further your education.

Second. Being from your neighbor state, i can tell you without a doubt, the best thing you can do is get the hell out of indiana. If you are of the mind that you are looking around and figured out that there is a world outside the borders of indy, then you are not going to be happy living in that town, it will always be too small and when you get older you will be kicking yourself in the ass, always saying 'what if'.

Go to an out of state college, your family will always be your family, if your friends dont stick with you, they weren't friends to begin with, and you'll find that there are probably much hotter girls in the world than your gf you have now.

I hear arizona state is fairly easy to get into and as a bonus its rated like the top college for hot girls. Florida state is also a fine college, in a state with decent weather, and if you haven't seen an FSU girl, you dont know what your missing

    Hey Kory,

The exciting thing is that there are a whole new set of friends and experiences in Long Beach.

Don't let the things at home cloud your decision. Those people, if they care for you enough, will make some trips out there to see you and you will do the same.

Take the chance...you will be glad you did in the end.

    Live your Dream!
    Tim

Hmm Indiana or the beach in California. Easy decision for me. I love the beach too much to say no and hate cold weather. Much better winters. Would be a no brainer for me. I'd choose Long Beach over Indiana anyday. You can still talk to your family everyday with phone and net. Your gf might even be able to go with you if she wants.

Remember also indiana has one of the best costs of living in the US. I live in Muncie and used to live in Indy for 5-6 years.

While Indiana isnt school friendly for IT there still is many jobs for it simply because of that.

It may be a good idea to lay out a plan and do your best to stick to it. Like maybe just attend school then come back or w/e just take some time to really talk/think about it maybe with some other people like your mom and dad so they can bring things you may not have thought of.

    Fud
